Children’s Ministry

Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program of care, evangelism, spiritual growth and service opportunities for preschool and elementary grade children ages( 3-12). Responsible for  Sunday morning programs and possibly a mid-week program. Responsible for recruiting, training, equipping and development of leaders and volunteers working in the ministry. Meets with and reports to Ministry Team Lead.

 

Culinary Ministry

Responsible for managing the overall food, snack and beverage service operation of the church for services and other events. Organizes the food service operation including planning menus, purchasing required supplies and supervising kitchen activities, food preparation and cleanup. Responsible for adhering to local, state and federal health codes. Supervises kitchen staff and volunteers. Meets with and reports to Ministry Team Lead.

Ushers Ministry

Responsible for greeting and seating members and guests when they enter the sanctuary, while continuously keeping track of available seats. Ushers ensure that all visitors have an opportunity to hear and enjoy the sermon without distractions. Ushers are always observing members and guests to answer questions, assist with any needs  and are available to address any potential problems or medical emergencies and act accordingly when they occur. Meets with and reports to Ministry Team Lead.

Greeters

Responsible for pleasantly welcoming members and guests with a smile, hug or handshake as they arrive in the building. Greeters escort members and guests to the sanctuary for seating or to their desired area of the church.  Greeters  are always observing members and guests to answer questions, assist with any needs and are available to address any potential problems or medical emergencies and act accordingly when they occur. Meets with and reports to Ministry Team Lead.

Intake Ministry

Responsible for the assimilation of ministry partners into our church community. Responsible for registering baptism and christening candidates while maintaining accurate records.  Provides salvation information registration packet to all new ministry partners. Additionally Intake and distributes all necessary baptismal forms to candidates and ensures all forms are returned and complete before the date of the Baptism. Coordinates Pastor and church availability, supplies, etc. prior to scheduled Baptism or Christening.  Communicates candidates’ names for preparation of certificates and general accommodations to Ministry and Organization Team Leads. Communicates with prospective individuals and/or families seeking baptism or christening by phone, email, etc. and responds to all inquiries and concerns. Meets with and reports to Ministry Team Lead.

Leadership Development

Responsible for the development and integration of those who serve in any capacity within the church. Encourages and provides a means for our spiritual family  to discover their spiritual gifts and use them for ministry. Develops a comprehensive system to establish position descriptions and identify and recruit people to fill positions according to their interest and giftedness. Works with appropriate staff to implement the system in their areas of responsibility. Develops a program to support and recognize ministry servant leaders. Regularly evaluates and refines development methods and tools. Meets with and reports to Ministry Team Lead.

 

Youth Ministry

Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program of care, evangelism, spiritual growth and service opportunities for middle and high school students. Responsible for recruiting, training, equipping and the development of leaders and volunteers working in the ministry. Meets with and reports to Ministry Team Lead.

Young Adults  Ministry

Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program of care, evangelism, spiritual growth and service opportunities for ages 18-35. Responsible for recruiting, training, equipping and the development of leaders and volunteers working in the ministry. Meets with and reports to Ministry Team Lead.

 

Health/Wellness Ministry

Registered or licensed practical nurse responsible for evaluating the physical and mental health care needs of the church during services or events. Meets with and  reports to Ministry Team Lead.

 

Men’s Ministry

Responsible for spreading and celebrating the word of God among the brothers. It is formed to encourage all men to be their best in all parts of their lives, promoting right actions, being responsible and fulfilling the duty of service as christian men to the highest. Meets with and reports to Ministry Team Lead.
